Job Description
Responsibilities:
Achieve Sales Targets: Responsible for the overall sales performance of the assigned product range.
Drive Sales Growth: Lead the sales team to increase vendor revenue within existing accounts and acquire new customers through focused marketing, campaigns, and end-user enablement.
Maintain Vendor Alignment: Ensure the sales team effectively represents vendor interests with each partner.
Provide Sales Forecasting: Deliver accurate and regular sales forecasts and business updates to management and vendors.
Optimize Sales Opportunities: Collaborate with the sales team to proactively manage and drive all sales opportunities.
Develop Partner Relationships: Engage in strategic and tactical business planning with key partners, including:
Identifying new markets.
Developing tailored sales and marketing strategies.
Creating sales tools and marketing programs.
Assisting with broad-base marketing and customer references.
Designing partner enablement plans.
Implement Best Practices: Utilize best practices for opportunity management, account planning, and forecasting.
Shape Vendor Strategy: Play a key role in defining and implementing vendor strategies within Axiz, aligning vendor focus with Axiz resources.
Manage Vendor Relationships: Develop and manage local and international vendor relationships.
Market Alignment: Understand target markets and align Axiz's focus accordingly.
Partner Development: Define and develop partner focus by strategically aligning them with vendor objectives and fostering their growth.
Execute Go-To-Market Programs: Implement programs to drive focus products and solutions.
Recruit & Develop Partners: Assist in the recruitment and development of new vendor partners.
Manage Partner Programs: Oversee vendor partner programs.
Internal Training & Development: Manage internal training for vendor products, ensuring Axiz staff proficiency.
Partner Skills Development: Define and execute skills development programs for partners.
Devise Growth Strategies: Collaborate with partners on devising and implementing growth strategies.
Market & Sell Products: Implement market strategies, disseminate product information, grow market share, identify new business opportunities, and position vendor products.
Manage Product Profitability: Oversee the profitability of assigned products.
Implement Vendor Policies: Understand and implement vendor strategies and policies, including pricing, rebates, and reporting models.
Foster ISV Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with Independent Software Vendors.
Oversee Branch Output: Manage the output of Axiz branches.
Resolve Channel Issues: Handle all channel-related issues.
Education:
Matriculation Certificate with exemption (Essential)
Marketing or Commerce Degree/Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' IT industry sales experience (Essential)
Account Management experience (Essential)
2 years' sales experience in IT distribution (Preferred)
2 years' sales experience selling to large corporate customers (Preferred)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate - Essential)
