Hire Resolve's client is looking for a PHP Developer to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP development, have a keen eye for detail, and be capable of delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.

• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code while following best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and front-end developers, to implement new features and enhancements.

• Ensure proper documentation of code and development processes.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development efficiency.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.

• Maintain database structures and optimize queries for better performance.

• Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing best security practices.

Requirements: 

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP development.

• Strong understanding of PHP frameworks. 

• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).

• Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
