Job Description

A SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification agency that provides comprehensive Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) compliance services is seeking a versatile UI/UX Designer to lead a dual-focus project: the end-to-end redesign of an existing web application and the development of a comprehensive Corporate Identity (CI).

Responsibilities:

  • Audit & Strategy: Conduct UX audits, map user flows, and propose optimized workflows.

  • Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity screens in Figma.

  • Systems Design: Build a scalable Figma design system (components, tokens, and responsive layouts).

  • Dev Handover: Prepare pixel-perfect assets, CSS specs, and documentation for engineering.

  • Brand Evolution: Refine or recreate the company logo, color palette, and typography.

  • Visual Assets: Develop a custom iconography set and professional templates.

  • Documentation: Produce a formal Brand Guidelines manual (PDF) ensuring cross-platform consistency.

  • Discovery: Lead stakeholder workshops to define personas and pain points.

  • Agile Integration: Collaborate with product and dev teams to ensure technical feasibility.

  • Testing: Conduct usability tests and iterate designs based on user feedback.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Figma Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Auto Layout, Variants, and Design Systems.

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in UI/UX, specifically within SaaS or complex web applications.

  • Brand Design: Proven ability to develop professional corporate identities and logos.

  • Portfolio: Required. Must demonstrate application redesigns and brand identity work.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience (salary can potentially be more based on experience/skills)
