A leading hospitality company is looking for a Cyber Security & IT infrastructure Manager to join their team in in Abu Dhabi, UEA. 

Job Purpose

To ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, and information systems. This role is accountable for leading cybersecurity initiatives, managing server and network environments, and implementing policies and procedures that safeguard the organization’s digital assets and support business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Oversee the organization’s computer systems, networks, and data operations with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.

  • Design, implement, and maintain server environments, network configurations, backups, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

  • Ensure the secure configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of all network and server infrastructure.

  • Manage IT budgets effectively to ensure cost efficiency and strategic investment.

2. Cybersecurity Leadership & Governance

  • Define, implement, and maintain the organization’s information security strategy, policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, threat modeling, and posture reviews across on-premise and hybrid environments.

  • Own and manage security audits, compliance assessments (e.g., ISO, NIST), and remediation plans.

  • Design and enforce secure-by-design architecture across infrastructure, applications, and ERP systems.

3. Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Manage end-to-end IAM processes including user lifecycle management, access reviews, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

  • Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions to enforce least-privilege principles.

4. Incident Response & Business Continuity

  • Lead security incident detection, response, investigation, and recovery activities.

  • Develop, maintain, and regularly test Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for critical systems and infrastructure.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage IT staff, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.

  • Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization through training and communication.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align IT and security initiatives with business needs.

6. Operational Excellence

  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT and cybersecurity issues.

  • Conduct system audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.

  • Ensure IT systems and procedures adhere to organizational policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

 
CategoryRequirements
EducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
ExperienceMinimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure management with a strong focus on cybersecurity, server, and network administration.
CertificationsRelevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer) are a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows server environments, Exchange Server, and office applications.

  • Strong experience in computer networks, network administration, installation, and security protocols.

  • Knowledge of IT hardware, cabling, wireless technologies, and system integration.

  • Hands-on experience with security tools, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.

Management & Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (proficiency in Arabic is an advantage).

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • High level of integrity and accountability with a commitment to promoting a security-aware culture.
