Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and reporting tools. The role involves developing, integrating, and maintaining data-driven applications, with a focus on Power BI, .NET development, and database management.

Key Requirements

• Relevant 3-year IT qualification (Degree or Diploma)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with Power BI integration tools
• At least 2 years’ experience working with Jasper Reports (iReports)
• Proficiency in Git Bash and version control practices
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio
• At least 3 years’ experience working with MS SQL

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies
• Integrate and manage Power BI reporting solutions
• Develop and maintain reports using Jasper Reports (iReports)
• Write and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and database structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts and QA
• Maintain code repositories and version control using Git
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems

Rate

R450 – R600 per hour
