Role Overview

We are seeking motivated, target-driven Direct Sales Consultants to focus exclusively on new business acquisition within the Business ICT Solutions sector. This is a high-performance, field-based sales role requiring disciplined prospecting, strong closing ability, and consistent client acquisition.

The successful candidate will generate their own leads, present tailored solutions, and sign new clients across a range of ICT products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate a minimum of 40 qualified leads per month through:
    • Cold calling
    • Door-to-door sales
    • Walk-ins
    • Networking
  • Deliver at least 20 client quotations per month (minimum 5 per week)
  • Sign a minimum of 10 new clients per month
  • Present all quotations in person
  • Prepare and issue quotes on the spot using approved pricing structures
  • Proactively follow up on all quotations to close deals
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, and signed contracts
  • Adhere strictly to company sales processes and policies

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 40 new qualified leads per month
  • 20 quotations delivered per month
  • 10 new clients signed per month

Performance is closely monitored and directly linked to commission and bonus earnings.

Commission Structure (Summary)

Commission is payable once the deal is active and invoiced:

  • Month-to-Month Contracts: R100
  • 12-Month Contracts: R250
  • 24-Month Contracts: R500
  • 36-Month Contracts: R1,000
  • 48-Month Contracts: R1,500
  • 60-Month Contracts: R2,000

Monthly KPI Bonus

  • R5,000 for achieving 100% of assigned KPIs

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates should have prior exposure to the Business ICT Solutions environment, preferably with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Internet and VoIP / Business Telephony Solutions
  • Office Automation and Printing Solutions
  • Managed IT and Connectivity Services

Experience gained at competitors within the ICT, telecommunications, or office automation sectors will be highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on sales experience with at least one of the above solution areas.

Minimum Requirements

  • Own reliable vehicle (non-negotiable)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Minimum 1 year B2B sales experience within ICT, telecoms, or office automation
  • Proven hunter / new-business sales profile
  • Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
  • High levels of resilience and self-motivation
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
  • Consistent ability to self-generate leads
