Job Description
Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise data transmissions, scripts, and APIs.
Configure and manage server FTP data exchange folders.
Perform data analysis using queries and manage import/export schedules.
Conduct process testing after system updates and prioritize assigned tasks.
Monitor overall system health (Site, Network, Server, Imports, Exports).
Provide professional, high-quality feedback and resolution for level 3 escalations and customer queries.
Perform basic product line connection testing and troubleshooting (level 1).
Troubleshoot system and server failures (level 1), overseeing restoration and providing after-hours support for critical failures.
Perform financial reconciliations and compile ad-hoc reports.
Translate business analytics into SQL (for reports/forms).
Manage operational functions, including pricing setups on third-party systems.
Oversee Business-to-Business (B2B) data movements and manage B2B certificate renewals.
Ensure website HTTPS compliance.
Work collaboratively with business units and stakeholders for query resolution.
Compile and update system support manuals and manage the support ticket lifecycle (creation, follow-up, closure).
Education: National Diploma in IT or equivalent (NQF 5/6) qualification.
Programming: PHP (4+ years experience).
Database: MySQL or equivalent RDBMS (4+ years experience).
Operating Systems/Deployment: Experience with Linux and Windows deployment.
Data Exchange: FTP exchange experience.
Cloud Deployment experience.
Touch Typing.
Good Documentation Skills.
Beneficial Skills
API experience.
Basic Networking experience.
Knowledge of XML.
