Job Description
We are looking for an experienced On-Site Support Engineer to provide daily technical support, maintain network infrastructure, manage documentation, and liaise with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of IT systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Manage documentation: system configurations, network diagrams, and user manuals
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs and software updates
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards
- Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and software deployments
- Monitor backups and disaster recovery procedures
- After-hours standby on a rotation schedule
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar technical support role, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
- Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, client OS, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network systems
- Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and wireless networking
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
